Antalya Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of London at 103-105 Southampton Row, Antalya Restaurant is the kind of spot you stumble upon once-and then keep coming back to. Think warm Turkish hospitality, rich Mediterranean flavors, and a space that balances charm with accessibility. Whether you're in the area for a casual solo lunch or planning a lively dinner with friends, this place knows how to deliver on every front.
Right from the entrance, Antalya sets the tone for inclusivity. With a wheelchair-accessible car park, entrance, seating, and toilet, it’s designed with comfort in mind for all guests. Step inside, and you’re greeted by cozy indoor tables and a beautifully set outdoor seating area-ideal for a warm afternoon with a glass of Mediterranean tonic in hand.
If you're craving authentic Turkish cuisine, this is your playground. The Mixed Grill Platter is a top recommendation for newcomers-it comes sizzling with Chicken Shish Kebab, Lamb Shish Kebab, Islim Kebab, and all the smoky, seasoned goodness you could want. The lamb is incredibly tender, especially the Lamb Shank, slow-cooked to perfection with bold spices that linger just enough on the palate. For those who prefer a richer dish, the Lamb Iskender hits all the right notes with its layers of sliced lamb over pita bread, soaked in tomato sauce and finished with a dollop of yogurt.
Vegetarians aren’t left out here either. The Moussaka is layered with velvety aubergines and a silky béchamel that could rival any traditional Greek version. You’ll also find hearty Lentil Soup-a comfort dish that comes with warm pita bread and a side of nostalgia.
Drinks? They don’t disappoint. Antalya boasts an impressive wine list and a range of cocktails, spirits, and Turkish tea that people genuinely rave about. Don’t be surprised if you end up ordering a second cup of that tea-it’s aromatic, soothing, and pairs perfectly with a plate of lokum (Turkish delight). For a more indulgent treat, the Kunefe is a must: sweet, cheesy, crunchy, and served warm.
What’s particularly impressive is how Antalya balances its traditional offerings with modern service options. Whether you're dining in, picking up a no-contact takeaway, or opting for a late-night delivery, the quality remains consistent. The staff is efficient and polite, contributing to the restaurant’s reputation for fast service without ever feeling rushed.
The menu is expansive, but not overwhelming. From Rib Eye Steak for meat lovers to vegan dishes, organic options, and a salad bar, there’s flexibility for a variety of diets. They even cater to halal food preferences, which adds to the inclusivity this place is known for.
There’s also something to be said about the ambiance. It’s casual but elegant, ideal for both lunch meetings and dinner dates. Soft lighting, attentive service, and a layout that allows for both privacy and social energy make Antalya feel like more than just a restaurant-it’s an experience.
If you're in the Holborn or Bloomsbury area and looking for a spot that delivers hearty meals, high-quality ingredients, and a welcoming vibe, Antalya Restaurant checks all the boxes. It’s a place where the food tells a story, and each visit feels like a return to something familiar and comforting.

Exceptional performance — both regarding service and the taste as quality of the food. The chicken was juicy and melted right off. Spices and vegetables used for the chicken sote were extremely well seasoned and cooked— you could taste that they did not overcook it at all and managed the perfect balance. Each vegetable was perfectly cooked and kept it’s original flavor. In combination with the used herbs and sauce it was an Overall wowing experience!
